Mary Jo’s remarkable journey into the world of the paranormal began during a visit to the historic Grove House in Jefferson, Texas, where she unknowingly captured a widely documented, century-old apparition in a photograph. This single, pivotal discovery served as the catalyst for her deep exploration into the unexplained, eventually leading her to co-found the Terrell Ghosts Paranormal team alongside her daughter and grandson.

Over the years, Mary Jo has combined her hands-on field experience with rigorous academic inquiry. She is currently advancing her expertise through specialized parapsychology coursework at Duke University’s prestigious Rhine Research Center, an institution that has been the global authority on the scientific study of psychic phenomena since 1926. Beyond her investigations and leadership, she is an accomplished author who penned the book The Ghost Stories of Terrell, Texas, which can be found at all major book retailers. Additionally, she shares her wealth of knowledge and passion for the subject as a dedicated host on the Terrell Paranormal Talk podcast, solidifying her reputation as a leading expert and storyteller in the field.
