Laurie Blair, M.S. Certified Counselor
Partner, Paranormal Investigator & Psychological Tarot Practitioner
Laurie brings a rich, highly informed perspective to the Terrell Ghosts team, blending over two decades of clinical guidance with rigorous academic study in parapsychology and symbolic analysis.
Recently retired from a distinguished 26-year career as a public school teacher and certified Professional School Counselor across Texas school districts (including Terrell, Crandall, and Quinlan ISDs), Laurie holds a Master’s degree from ETSU Commerce. Her extensive background in individual and group counseling, motivational interviewing, and crisis management forms the foundation of her compassionate, present-focused approach to client work
As a Partner and active Paranormal Investigator with Terrell Ghosts, Laurie is known for her adept use of metaphysical tools and her skill in crafting insightful, targeted questions during EVP research sessions. To ground her field work in scientific inquiry, she is currently engaged in advanced coursework in parapsychology and paranormal studies through Duke University’s historic Rhine Research Center—focusing specifically on the psychological dimensions of human belief, religion, and psychic phenomena.
In her private practice, Laurie shifts tarot away from traditional fortune-telling or predictive magic, using cards instead as a visual mirror for present-day clarity and self-reflection. By combining therapeutic active listening with deep archetypal symbol decoding, she provides a grounded, supportive space for clients navigating life pivots, career transitions, and personal growth.
