Brenda Newby founded the Terrell Ghosts Paranormal Team in 2012 following a transformative personal experience, marking the beginning of her career as a dedicated paranormal investigator. She approaches her work with academic rigor, emphasizing the necessity of advanced education, collaborative teamwork, and thorough experimentation to ensure the integrity of every investigation.
Currently, Brenda is pursuing a four-year certification in parapsychology at the Rhine Research Center of Duke University. Her expertise spans forensic photography, video analysis, and the study of electronic voice phenomena, all underpinned by a commitment to critical thinking. Beyond her investigative work, Brenda shares her knowledge through online workshops and courses, such as Modern Electronic Voice Phenomenon Mastery and various levels of paranormal investigation training.
As an active field investigator, Brenda is affiliated with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) and contributes to the field as a published author of The Ghost Stories of Terrell, Texas and the host of the Terrell Paranormal Talk podcast. She is a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars, where she presents on topics ranging from electronic voice phenomena to the government's ongoing disclosure of UAP evidence.
Brenda holds an Associate's in Biology Science and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management with a minor in Marketing from University of Phoenix.
She's currently getting her certification through Google's Small Business Certification Program.
