This isn’t a history lesson, and it isn’t a sightseeing tour. It’s a journey into the unseen side of Terrell. We take you off the beaten path—into the alleyways and areas where the public rarely goes—to stand in the areas where the paranormal activity happens.

You’ll hear the legends, the lore, and the darker stories that explain why the spirits are here, all while surrounded by the eerie, quiet architecture of the city at night.

It depends on the "vibe" you are looking for.

  • Choose the Haunted Stories Tour if: You enjoy ghost stories and folklore. This is a 90-minute walking tour focused on the legends and hidden history of Terrell. It is perfect for those who want to hear the tales without handling the equipment.


  • Choose the Investigation Tour if: You want to be part of the action. This is an immersive, 3-hour experience where you use state-of-the-art ghost-hunting equipment to make contact with spirits. You don't just hear the stories; you try to contact the spirit energies that caused the story.

 

Unlike standard ghost tours, our premium 3-hour Investigation Tour offers a deeply immersive and interactive experience. Each experience is different.  We limit groups to just six people to ensure exclusivity and personal engagement.

Not at all! We provide all the equipment and a trained paranormal investigator to lead the way. Whether you are a devoted believer or a curious skeptic, we will guide you how to use the tools to detect activity.  

No, but ask yourself some honest questions about your child first:

  • Are they truly interested in paranormal television or videos?

  • Can they sit still and focus for short, but intense, periods of time?

  • Are they able to manage their expectations if they do not get a response?

  • Are they mature enough to grasp the implications of a response, should they receive one? 

  • As their parents, are you prepared for the potential impact of this experience on their future beliefs?

You should be able to answer "yes" to all of the above questions.  If not then consider the Haunted Ghost Stories Tour.  

If your child tends to be fidgety, easily distracted, or quickly bored, this is especially true. The experience requires the full attention of all guests, who are present for the same reasons as you. Inattentive children can cause disruptions that detract from the experience for everyone. .   

The tour involves walking less than half a mile, with some areas on sidewalks and others on gravel. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

The Haunted Ghost Stories Tour includes a lot of standing. Lightweight stools are available for those who need to sit during the tour.

The Paranormal Investigation Experience involves less standing and offers seating opportunities, though some may require sitting on the ground or steps. Lightweight stools are provided for guests who find it difficult to stand for long periods or get up and down easily.

Haunted Ghost Stories Tour Meeting Location

We meet in the American National Bank overflow parking lot at the corner of Moore Avenue and Frances Street.   We are across the street from the Iris Marquee.  The best coordinates to use for your maps app is 32.736772, -96.278648.  You can also use the address for Books and Crannies, we are across the street, 209 East Moore Avenue, Terrell, TX 75160.

Paranormal Investigation Experience Meeting Location

We meet at the lobby of the Brin Opera House, located at 102 East Moore Avenue, Terrell, TX 75160.  

If the doors are locked upon your arrival, your tour guide will let you in approximately 15 minutes before the tour begins.

We go inside one building during the tour and engage with paranormal equipment outside of several other historic locations.

Our featured building is 3 stories.  It is 150 years old with plenty of documented paranormal history.  During the Haunted Ghost Stories Tour you will get to walk around the long loop of the first floor.  During the Paranormal Investigation Experience you will get to do at least one area of the building, possibly more, depending upon the group's preference and time.

Spirits transcend boundaries, yet they connect with us effortlessly. Whether from a porch or any outdoor space, we embrace seamless communication.

Absolutely. We are ADA compliant. The route follows paved pathways, and we have ramps and an elevator in the main building. We also have portable lightweight seating available if you need to rest along the way.

Yes! We are a dog-friendly activity on our Haunted Ghost Walk Tour. Dogs are welcome as long as they are leashed and under your control at all times. Please be mindful of other guests and bring water for your pup, especially in warmer weather.

We have specific dog policies, and we kindly invite you to ensure that both you and your four-legged friend align with them for an enjoyable experience.   

We generally walk in light rain, so please bring an umbrella. 

Even in heavier rain, we can "pivot" our tour to accomodate the weather.

However, if there is severe weather (lightning or warnings), we will cancel for safety and offer a refund or reschedule.  You will be notified.

Considerations for high heat and winter weather advisories are also included.

Paranormal Investigation Experience Reservation Costs
  • Standard Reservation: $45 per person.
  • Early Bird: $35 per person if booked 7 days in advance.
  • Groups (6-10 guests): $30 per person.

Yes. We understand budgets can be tight. We offer flexible financing through Affirm, allowing you to split the cost into monthly installments. We also offer an invoice system where you can pay 50% down to hold your spot, with the remainder due by 12 PM on the day of the event.

As well, we can work out a lay-a-way option for larger groups, like for birthday parties.  Reach Out to Us to discuss options.

  • Down payments are non-refundable.
  • Standard or Early Reservations:  We ask that you cancel at least 8 hours prior to your tour start time for a full refund.
  • Groups and Private Tours:  We ask for 48 hours notice for a full refund.  
  • No shows do not qualify for refunds.  

We understand that unexpected situations arise. Even if you're beyond the refund period, please reach out to us. We must consider factors such as waitlist status and our tour guide's schedule, who has reserved time for your event. Various elements impact our ability to provide a full refund, but we strive to assist our guests whenever possible.

During the paranormal investigation, activity may or may not occur. We cannot make the ghosts "perform," nor do we expect them to. We will visit at least three locations during the experience. We are familiar with the spirit energies at all three locations, and it is not unusual to hear our names being spoken over the spirit box.

We will post the audio of the spirit box sessions online and provide a link for access. We recommend using headphones to listen. Things we missed during the investigation often go unnoticed, but you can clearly hear them in the audio when everything else is blocked out and you are simply listening.
